Congrats Laura Wilson (Mu Chapter)
Laura Wilson is an Outcomes Liaison Associate Director for the North America Diabetes and Cardiovascular Division (DCV) of Sanofi. She received her Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Kansas and participated in a Pharmacoeconomics Research Fellowship with Thomas Jefferson University. Laura’s experience within the pharmaceutical industry has continued for eighteen years, with roles as an Outcomes Liaison, Clinical Science Liaison and Senior Medical Science Liaison. She has been recognized by her organization with the North America Rising Star award for exceptional performance. Laura is a current and active member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy, the American Diabetes Association and Kappa Epsilon. She also takes an active role within philanthropic organizations. She was a founding member of the Kansas Antibiotic Resistance Coalition, a member of the Kansas Asthma Coalition, created a women’s breakfast series in downtown Kansas City, ran the pharmacy for a medical mission in Honduras, and provided medical support for a clinic in Malawi, Africa. Laura was the Mu Chapter President 1998-1999, served on Grand Council as Vice President of New Member Recruitment 199-2001, and is currently the Foundation Vice President. She credits Kappa Epsilon with providing a foundation with which to build her leadership skills.
