“I am truly honored to be recognized by my peers as the 2015 recipient of the FSHP Forerunner Award.  I have grown a lot professionally through my work with my patients, students, and colleagues in FSHP and ASHP in my 5 years since graduation.  I look forward to continuing to work with each of these groups, as well as working to expand the patient care efforts of all pharmacists.  FSHP is a dynamic organization that is working to expand pharmacists’ scope of practice in Florida and better serve its members at all levels of practice experience. I feel fortunate to have gotten to know many accomplished pharmacists and technicians through FSHP who continuously challenge me to be the best pharmacist I can be.” – Lindsey Childs-Kean, PharmD, MPH, BCPS

Dr. Childs-Kean serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Pharmacotherapy and Translational Research for the University of Florida College of Pharmacy at the St. Petersburg Campus; and Advisor for KE’s Alpha Omega Chapter.
